From local greenhouse Root Cellar Gardens. Established in 2014, Root Cellar Gardens is a small-scale, off-grid market garden. They grow a wide variety of fresh and storage vegetables, and produce regionally adapted garden seed.
"Our growing season is short, and our winters are long. Root Cellar Gardens focuses on growing crops that can be put-by for later: things you can can, freeze, or just tuck away in the root cellar. (That said, we also love making the most of the summer that we do have, and delight in many short-lived seasonal treats like melon.)"
